Bolton utility player Henrik Pedersen will have an operation to try to cure a nagging Achilles injury.The 31-year-old Dane, who can play in defence or attack, has curtailed his pre-season programme because of the problem.Manager Sam Allardyce said: "Henrik has felt soreness throughout the summer and we feel an exploratory operation is the right thing to do. We will have a better understanding of the problem later this week."
