David Chissick, the businessman who helped Alexandre Gaydamak buy Portsmouth last year has resigned from the board at Fratton Park.Chissick, who was vice-chairman at Pompey, played a key role at the Premiership club when Gaydamak took over from former owner Milan Mandaric.Chief executive Peter Storrie said: "David has played an important role in the new era of Portsmouth and the club wish to thank him for his contribution to the business."
