Hearts wide man Andrew Driver put himself in the shop window with his performances for England Under 21s in Sweden this summer.

Two clubs that certainly know all about Driver’s potential are Burnley and Coventry City – after the Clarets had a £500,000 bid for the player turned down by Hearts last summer, while the Sky Blues tabled an unsuccessful £1 million offer in January.

With Driver’s profile now raised even higher following the European Championships, it seems only a matter of time before he moves to an English club, indeed his Hearts teammate Larryea Kingston believes he wouldn’t look out of place playing for one of the top sides in the Premier League.

“Andy is one of the most talented players in the UK, not only in Scotland. He’s a good player who could fit into any club in the UK, any club,” said Kingston.

“There are a lot of players in the top four clubs in the Premier League that are his age and sometimes you just need the opportunity to prove yourself. For now, Hearts need him but I don’t know his point of view.”
