Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan is reportedly a target for the Premier League's leading lights.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, are all being touted as potential suitors of the 24-year-old, but - according to The Sun - Manchester United have emerged as the favourites to gain his signature.
The Rosenborg star has played in Norway for five years, and his performances as a holding midfielder for the Troilongan have not gone unnoticed by some of Europe's biggest clubs.
His profile rose dramatically during the World Cup, when he was instrumental in Ghana's surge to the last eight – becoming only the second African side to reach the quarter-final stage in the tournament’s history.
This has understandably seen him linked with a move to England, and has agent revealed that the Premier League will most likely end up as his destination.
“We're expecting one of the top English clubs to try to sign him,” said Lars Petter Fosdahl.
"That's what Anthony wants."
