Paris St Germain have hit back at wantaway midfielder Didier Digard´s comments that the club are holding up his proposed move to Middlesbrough.

The two clubs agreed a fortnight ago a fee of 5million euros for the 21-year-old, who has only been at PSG for one season, but the transfer has still not been completed and Digard has heaped the blame squarely at the door of the Ligue 1 club.

However, a statement on PSG´s website read: "Twelve days after an agreement in principle between PSG and Middlesbrough for the transfer of Didier Digard, the club´s directors are still waiting for bank guarantees from the English club."
