Ryan Babel´s agent has claimed Liverpool have made a bid for the Ajax winger.Babel impressed as the Dutch Under-21 side won the recent European Championships and has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, but it now appears Liverpool have joined the race to sign the 20-year-old.His agent Winnie Haatrecht told Sportweek magazine: "I can say nothing about transfer fees, but I can confirm that Liverpool have made a bid for Ryan."
