Rio Ferdinand has ruled himself out of the running to be England captain after John Terry was stripped of the Three Lions armband earlier today.

Steven Gerrard is the Give Me Football fans' favourite to replace Terry, with over 56% of the votes in favour of the Liverpool captain for the role.

Andre Villas-Boas meanwhile disagreed with the FA's decision, saying Terry will remain Chelsea captain regardless of the impending trial.

Arsene Wenger wants to go unbeaten for the rest of the season, calling on his side to show the spirit of the 2004 'Invincibles' squad.
