West Brom manager Bryan Robson is hoping to extend midfielder Kieran Richardson´s loan spell from Manchester United for another season.

Robson would jump at the chance to extend Richardson´s stay at The Hawthorns beyond the end of the current campaign if the player and United boss Sir Alex Ferguson are in agreement. He said: "I think Kieran has got his own ambitions and he wants to be a Manchester United player.

"I was a Manchester United player myself so I know where the kid is coming from when he says that. But he is doing a terrific job for us and if I can extend his spell at Albion, with the approval of Sir Alex and Kieran for next season, then I would jump at the chance."
