Manchester City have been linked with another Brazilian star, 29-year old Ronaldinho in an amazing swap deal for Robinho.

The former World Player of the Year, Ronaldinho has been linked with a move to the Eastlands with Robinho going the other way.

Mark Hughes previously tried to seal a deal with the Brazilian before he decided to switch to AC Milan from Barcelona.

In the summer Hughes committed by saying: "Maybe at this stage of Ronaldinho's career, we can offer him an exciting option and the opportunity to help lead a club to where it wants to go. That is what we are trying to say to him."

According to Sport, City have made an enquiry and are waiting for an answer from Milan regarding the availability of Ronaldinho.

The move is much more likely with the unsettled Robinho possibly joining the likes of Inzaghi, Pato, Nesta, Huntelaar and of course Beckham come January.

Robinho has been constantly linked with a move away from the City of Manchester Stadium which suggest its only a matter of time until we see one world class player replaced with another.
