England received a clean bill of health when they trained at London Colney this morning ahead of tomorrow night's friendly with Egypt at Wembley.

All 24 members of Fabio Capello's squad were put through their paces, including Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe.

Defoe had been substituted during his side's 2-1 win over Everton at the weekend with a groin problem but was able to join in training with his international colleagues.

Wayne Rooney, who scored Manchester United's winner in the Carling Cup final against Aston Villa on Sunday, also took part despite his minor knee problem.

Wednesday's game is set to provide a stiff test for England, with Egypt having climbed to 10th in the FIFA rankings after their third successive African Nations Cup triumph last month.
