Wayne Rooney scored twice and Michael Owen added a late third as Manchester United eased to a 3-0 win over determined West Ham at Old Trafford.
Owen was scoring for the first time since his Champions League hat-trick against Wolfsburg over two months ago.
But Rooney was the main man, beating Robert Green with close-range headers either side of the interval to take his tally for the season to 27.
