Newcastle boss Graeme Souness has warned his players not to get too carried away by the ban which will keep Sporting Lisbon striker Liedson out of their UEFA Cup quarter-final second leg.The Magpies will head for the Jose Alvalade Stadium next Thursday night defending a slim but precious 1-0 lead after a gritty display at St James´ Park. However, while they will do so without full-back Aaron Hughes because of his third yellow card in this season´s competition, the Portuguese side will also be without their 23-goal striker for the same reason.Souness was shedding no tears over Liedson´s absence and, when asked if the South American´s misfortune was a boost to Newcastle, he replied: "Most definitely. He is a good player, a very good player. But Sporting are a good team and they have more than just him. We will have other players to worry about, as well as their very passionate crowd."
