Clearly the manager is not here, but very little (has changed) really...

Tottenham assistant Kevin Bond is confident that manager Harry Redknapp's trial will not affect the club's preparation for Friday's FA Cup game against Watford.

The 64-year-old Redknapp has not been able to take a training session this week as he has been at Southwark Crown Court contesting two counts of cheating the public revenue, but will return to the dugout when he takes charge of Tottenham's FA Cup fourth-round clash against the Hornets at Vicarage Road.

But Bond reckons the manager's absence has had little impact on the club and is confident the players will be able to perform well, telling a news conference: "Clearly the manager is not here, but very little (has changed) really."
