Humberto Suazo is the extremely talented Chilean striker, which Tottenham seem to be leading the chase to sign. Suazo is said to be the most consistent striker in South America over the past 5 seasons.Harry Redknapp is strongly linked with the 28-year-old striker who currently plays his club football in Mexico for Monterrey. Latest reports in the Mexican press state that Harry sees Suazo as a direct replacement to Roman Pavlyuchenko in the January transfer window. This isn't the first time the Chilean striker has gathered interest from European clubs. Galatasaray, Marseille, Newcastle and Sunderland have all been watching the impressive striker. Suazo, also known as 'Chupete' was the leading scorer in 2006, netting 38 goals in 44 games and has been compared to Wayne Rooney. This would be a great acquisition for Tottenham securing this in-form striker. Harry has supposedly had Suazo scouted repeatedly as a replacement for Pavlyuchenko.Powered by GiveMeFootball.com, the latest football news
