Pavel Srnicek will return to action for Newcastle more than eight years after leaving the club.The 38-year-old, who has been recruited on a short-term contract as cover for Steve Harper while Shay Given recovers from injury, will line up for the reserves against Wigan.Czech Srnicek, who joined the Magpies from Banik Ostrava for £350,000 in February 1991, made 188 senior appearances from the club over seven-and-a-half years at St James´ Park.
