It has been a tough start to life in the Premiership for Wolves and an equally tough introduction to life at Molineux for Steffen Iversen. The Norwegian international has been the subject of some criticism from the stands, yet he has slowly but surely started to win the old gold faithful over and bagged a his second goal of the campaign so far last weekend in the 1-1 draw with Birmingham City. Survival is starting to look like a feasible option for the Black Country boys now after their wretched start and Iversen takes a look back at the season so far with Ian Clarkson - beginning with a confession that he should have added another to his goals tally after missing a golden opportunity in the dying seconds against Blues.

Q:HOW PLEASED WERE YOU TO ADD TO YOUR GOALS TALLY LAST SATURDAY?

A:It was nice to score against Birmingham, but to be honest I should have had another one right at the end, but it didn't happen. I went home and thought about the one I missed and the one I scored. However, we got a point again and are keeping up our recent good run of form. We need to keep this mini-run going.

Q:DID THE BAD START TO THE CAMPAIGN AFFECT THE TEAM?

A:The start of the season has been forgotten and put behind us. We sort of started the season after six games and if you look back at the last seven or eight games then we are now getting points as well as becoming a harder team to score against. We look like we can score at any time now and we are looking dangerous from both set pieces and open play.

Q:THE TEAM HAS NOW REACHED TEN POINTS - DO YOU SET YOURSELF TARGETS?

A:We take one game at a time and don't set ourselves targets. You have to take the points wherever you can and keep working hard every day in training and in games. Our confidence is a lot higher now and we are passing better, defending better and do everything better than we did at the start, and we just have to keep that going now.

Q:IS STEFFEN IVERSEN BACK TO HIS BEST NOW?

A:I am feeling good and have had a run of three or four consecutive games, which has helped. All of last season at Tottenham was ruined by my back injury and I am feeling more and more comfortable out on the pitch so it is looking good. I have still got a bit further to go before am I back to my best, but I am getting there now and with a run of games under my belt I am sure it will come

Q:HAVE YOU FELT UNDER PRESSURE, PERSONALLY, YET THIS SEASON?

A:I have never felt under pressure. Obviously it is your job to score the goals but you also have to contribute to the team performance and play well.

Q:DID PLAYING WITH AN EXTRA BODY UP FRONT HELP YOU AT ALL?

A:Obviously it helps playing with another forward, but the 4-5-1 formation has also been working with Kenny Miller and Henri Camara coming in off the flanks. The 4-4-2 system has worked well and having that extra help up front is a bonus. You are only playing against one defender as opposed to being outnumbered all the time. It all depends what type of game you are going to play and I am sure we will change it again in the future depending on the opposition.

Q:DID YOU FEEL AS THOUGH YOU HAD A POINT TO PROVE THIS SEASON WHEN YOU CAME TO WOLVES?

A:I had my fair share of injuries at Spurs but I don't feel as though I have a point to prove. I know that if I am fit then I can play good football and score a lot of goals and hopefully with the run of games I am having at present I will be able to prove that to everyone.
