Chinese defender Sun Jihai is expected to miss out on Manchester City´s opening match of their tour of his homeland after failing to recover from a hamstring strain.Sun travelled to China with the rest of the squad but has struggled to shake off the problem ahead of City´s World Series Tournament match against Shanghai Shenhua.City boss Stuart Pearce said: "We just have a few niggles really in the main. Jihai is a bit of a worry but he has travelled to China with us. Other than that we have nothing major."
