Newcastle hit back from two goals down against Everton to give stand-in manager Joe Kinnear a welcome point from a 2-2 draw.

Everton cruised into a two-goal lead at Goodison Park thanks to Mikel Arteta's penalty and £15million midfielder Marouane Fellaini's first for the club.

But Steven Taylor pulled one back a minute from the break with a far-post header and then made the equaliser for Damien Duff a minute into the second period.
