Tottenham and Chelsea are on alert with the news that Rafael van der Vaart’s Real Madrid future is in doubt. There was speculation in the summer as to whether or not the Dutch ace would follow the likes of Robben and Sneijder out the door. However, Van der Vaart chose to stay at the Bernabeu and fight for his place in the side. The 26-year-old has now once again struggled to break into the first team throwing his future at the club into uncertainty. The Holland international has been reported to be interested in a transfer back to Ajax but he has insisted this is not the case.In discussing a possible move back to his former club, Van der Vaart told De Telegraaf newspaper: "In principle I find it too early (to return) and I say no. "I do not know if I will stay at Real Madrid, but there are other options."Powered by: GiveMeFootball.com, the latest football news
