Juan Mata has ended any speculation linking him with a move to Liverpool by agreeing a new deal with Valencia. Recent media reports had suggested the 21-year-old could be a target for Liverpool and Barcelona with talks stalling with the Spanish club.While Mata’s contract has yet to be extended, he has received a significant increase in salary. The minimum release fee clause also remains the same, valued at around 90million euros.The winger broke into the Valencia side in 2007 and has impressed in his two season at the club scoring five goals already this season.
