Alex Ferguson and Manchester United are said to be interested in the Valencia stars David Villa and David Silva. Valencia debts were widely report at the start of this year and over the summer, especially with a big summer move for their number one striker David Villa. Transfer speculation hype had died down when Villa remained at Valencia even though the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid had all been linked with the highly talented striker.Sacked
However, there has been news from Spain and also reported in national press that David Villa sacked his agent Jose Luis Tamargo, after he failed to secure a move away from Valencia. United look like hot favourites to capitalize on this recent news with the added knowledge that Valencia, only a few days ago admitted they were still facing financial problems.  The Spanish club were holding out for £50 million a piece but the Valencia director, Fernando Gomez confirmed the real situation when he said: "The club made a great effort to keep our players this summer but our economic situation remains very serious."It was a success to keep them, but there comes a point when you can't stand it any more. We may have to sell Villa."There have been many suggestions this is a perfect time for Alex Fergurson to flex his financial muscle with the funds generated from the Ronaldo world record transfer. 27-year-old Villa would be a marvellous addition to the Old Trafford strike force while many see Silva at only 23 as a perfect replacement for Ryan Giggs.
