Villa await Guzan decision

By PA Sport  July 29, 2008
Aston Villa will find out on Friday whether they can sign their second goalkeeper in the space of five days when Brad Guzan has his application for a work permit considered by the Home Office.

Villa agreed earlier this month to sign Guzan from Major Soccer League side Chivas USA in a deal believed to be worth around £2million.

The midlands club have already completed the signing of another American goalkeeper in Brad Friedel who has joined from Blackburn for £3million on a three-year contract.
