Aston Villa are putting their pre-season plans on ice for the 2008-2009 campaign until they know whether or not they will be competing in the Intertoto Cup.Martin O´Neill´s side were initially set to tour the United States for the second summer running after playing matches against Toronto and the Columbus Crew last July.But similar schedules have had to be shelved until it is known whether or not Villa will pip Blackburn and Manchester City for a place in the Intertoto - and the chance to qualify for the UEFA Cup.
