Ward set for Wales recall

By PA Sport  November 05, 2006
Sunderland goalkeeper Darren Ward is in line for a Wales recall four years after he played his last international.

Wales manager John Toshack is considering including the 32-year-old in his squad for the friendly against Liechtenstein at Wrexham on November 14.

Worksop-born Ward last played for Wales in the 2-2 draw against Bosnia in Cardiff in February 03, but lost his place in the squad after his move from Nottingham Forest to Norwich a year later.
