Veteran Everton defender David Weir believes his side face a test of character to avoid their Champions League dreams coming apart at the seams. They have seen their lead over Liverpool in the race for fourth place slashed to one point, and if the Reds win at Manchester City on Saturday, Everton will go into their Sunday clash at home to Crystal Palace out of the top four for the first time since September 11.The wheels are seriously in danger of coming off the Everton bandwagon, and Weir said: "Every game is massive, Sunday was massive when we lost at West Brom and from now on it is a test of character for us. We have got to respond in the right way, we have got to come out fighting and we have got to start winning games."
