West Brom release Hartson

By PA Sport  January 30, 2008
West Brom have released former Wales international striker John Hartson.

Hartson, who joined the club from Celtic in the summer of 2006, had fallen out of favour at The Hawthorns and failed to make an appearance for the Coca-Cola Championship leaders this season.

The 32-year-old has not featured in Tony Mowbray´s squad since a 1-0 home win over Cardiff on February 20.
