Adriano's agent has confirmed that the Brazilian has received a number of offers from clubs around Europe who are keen to sign the player in January.
The former Inter Milan front man is currently playing for Flamengo where he has helped the club to claim the Brazilian championship.
West Ham are reported to be one of the clubs interested in the player but they will face tough competition from other European clubs for the players services.
Manager Gianfranco Zola is keen to strengthen his attack, which currently relies heavily upon England international Carlton Cole, and has now made Adriano a top January transfer target.
Adriano’s representative Gilmar Rinaldi told calciomercato.it: "After winning the Brazilian championship I have not spoken to him.
"I can say that I have received offers from Italy, England, Spain and Greece. I have so many offers from Europe.
"Adriano will now take a holiday and then we will evaluate everything. By Christmas, I think it will be decided.
"At the moment, the idea is to remain in Flamengo until the World Cup."
