Wolves have announced the signing of defender Steven Mouyokolo from Hull on a four-year contract.

The 23-year-old has moved to Molineux following the Tigers' relegation to the npower Championship and has agreed a fifth-year option on the deal which keeps him in the Barclays Premier League.

Mouyokolo began his career in France with Ligue 2 side LB Chateauroux and also played for FC Gueugnon and US Boulogne and agreed to join the Tigers in January 2009.

He remained with Boulogne until the end of the season and helped them gain promotion to the French First Division for the first time in their history.

He marked his first season with Hull, during which he made 23 appearances, with a headed goal during the 1-1 draw with Chelsea.

Mouyokolo becomes manager Mick McCarthy's third signing of the summer after joining Jelle Van Damme and Steven Fletcher in moving to Molineux.

Adlene Guedioura has also turned his loan from RSC Charleroi into a permanent deal.
