The PFA 2UP Fans Player Awards provides the necessary mechanism to create the nominee list for The PFA 2UP Fans Player of the Year, which will be awarded at the end of the season.
The final vote to establish The PFA 2UP Fans Player of the Year will commence April 1st 2008 and close Midnight April 20th 2008.
Voting is only open to residents living in the UK.
The PFA 2UP Fans Player Awards
Voters have until 12.00 Midnight on the last day of each calendar month to enter his or her vote.
Fans may only register and vote for one player from one division per month.
Any player in a squad can be voted for providing:
1.The player must be in the first team line up in any given voting month.
2. The player has played in 75% of the games in any given voting month. Players who do not meet this criteria will be removed from the rankings.
Employees, members and their relatives, of The Professional Footballers Association, Givemefootball and other parties who could be deemed as being associated with this initiative are not eligible to enter.
Identified organised attempts at trying to falsely influence a player's ranking (eg using multiple e-mail addresses) or to generally bring the voting process into disrepute, will result in immediate disqualification of the voters concerned and in extreme cases may result in disqualification of the player or team for the month in question.
Any breach or identified attempted breach of these terms and conditions will lead to disqualification and all prizes will be cancelled or must be returned upon disqualification for any reason.
Givemefootball.com reserves the right to apply these terms and conditions at their discretion and any decisions made as a result of this by Givemefootball.com will be final.
Player Awards
There will be a monthly award for the Premiership, Championship and Leagues One and Two.
The divisional award winner's names will be officially announced on www.givemefootball.com and skysports.com, within 7 days after each calendar month during the season.
Fans Prizes
Once the winners of the awards in each division have been determined, four fans will be selected each month at random - one who voted for each winner - to present The PFA 2UP Fans Player Award at a home match to the winning player.
The four winning supporters each month will additionally receive:
* Tickets to the appropriate match
* Club Hospitality
* A framed, officially certified photograph of the presentation ceremony.
Draw prizes are not transferable
The organisers reserve the right to change the format of the draw prizes, within reason, at any time.
Each month the draw prize winners will be informed within 7 days after the final closing date, by e-mail, post or phone (if available).
Player of the Year
